4 Open Qualifiers. Each qualifier receives 2 berths (Minimum of 4 entries to guarantee 2 berths). Balance distributed using weighted-average. Double knockout draws
This event is open to male and female teams. All athletes aged eighteen (18) or over on December 31st, 2025. Qualifiers are capped at 12 entries per tier, per gender, per qualifier.
The restrictions below define each tier of the competition. While it is the responsibility of the individuals on the team to determine if they are eligible, we encourage anyone with questions around eligibility to contact competitions@curlingontario.ca for assistance.
Tier Two:
- The team cannot have more than one player that has been on a team that has qualified for a Curling Canada Member Association Provincial Championship that leads to a National Championship in the last five seasons, including youth events.
- The team cannot have more than one player that has represented any country at a world championship in the last five seasons. WCF Member Associations that do not have qualifying events to name their representatives are exempt.
- The team cannot have more than one player that has competed at a Canadian College or University championships in the last five seasons.

Communications will be sent to all participants for which a valid email address is provided. Please have this information ready when completing your team registration.
Withdrawals and Refunds
- Should a team enter a Curling Ontario qualifier and choose to withdraw from an event prior to the entry deadline they will receive a refund, less 10% to cover processing fees.
- To mitigate the disruption caused by last-minute alterations, Teams who choose to change qualifiers forfeit their original entry fee and must pay another full entry fee to register for the new qualifier of their choice.
- Teams cannot change qualifiers after the entry deadline. There are no refunds for teams who withdraw after the entry deadline.
- To change your qualifier you must register for the new one you’d like to participate in BY THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE and email competitions@curlingontario.ca to request to be removed from the one you no longer wish to participate in.
- If a team withdraws after the draw schedule has been released that team’s games will be replaced with byes.
