2027 CWG Doubles Trials | Guelph Curling Club

Location: Guelph Curling Club

Round Robin - in pools of four teams - to quarter finals, semi finals and finals to advance one qualifier to Canada Games. Format may change dependent on number of teams entered.

• All team members must also register as a Curling Ontario participant once per season.
• Additional eligibility requirements may apply - visit our Canada Games and Competition Regulations pages for details.
• Registration in this competition also requires payment of a an Ontario High Performance Fee of $20 per team. These fees will be automatically added on at check out, but are not reflected in the total below. HST is not charged on high performance fees.

An athlete may only qualify for Canada Winter Games in one event. Any athlete who achieves qualification in the Fours Trials event is immediately ineligible to compete in the Doubles Trials.

Communications will be sent to all participants for which a valid email address is provided. Please have this information ready when completing your team registration.

Withdrawals and Refunds

• Should a team enter a Curling Ontario qualifier and choose to withdraw from an event prior to the entry deadline they will receive a refund, less 10% to cover processing fees.
• To mitigate the disruption caused by last-minute alterations, Teams who choose to change qualifiers forfeit their original entry fee and must pay another full entry fee to register for the new qualifier of their choice.
• Teams cannot change qualifiers after the entry deadline. There are no refunds for teams who withdraw after the entry deadline.
• To change your qualifier you must register for the new one you’d like to participate in BY THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE and email competitions@curlingontario.ca to request to be removed from the one you no longer wish to participate in.
• If a team withdraws after the draw schedule has been released that team’s games will be replaced with byes.
